Southern Care Collaborative

October 22-23, 2026

with Heather Hodges, PhD

Monday March 16, 2026

Dr. Kathleen Deloach Benton & Deneice Knowles,

I’m excited about the opportunity to partner with you on your company training and the Southern Care Collaborative gathering in October.

I have prepared a proposal for a program that I believe will fit the goals and objectives of your event.

Below you’ll find a personalized video along with the keynote and workshop ideas. I’ve also included a video of my speed-painting experience that I have created for thousands of attendees in the last few years, along with my quote for the program.

I am proposing a 60-minute keynote, and a half-day to full-day workshop for Hospice Savannah. I personalize every program, so if you decide to move forward with me I will tailor the program to your objectives.

My goal is to knock it out of the park for you and Hospice Savannah. I have reserved your dates (Oct 22-23) and will hold them on my calendar for three weeks as I await your decision.

When you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over my standard speaker agreement and we can lock it in.

I look forward to working with you!

Thanks again!

Program Overview

Keynote Experience

The Art of Innovation: Unleash Your Creative Genius

Everyone is creative, but not everyone believes it. In this unforgettable keynote, Heather blends art, stories, and neuroscience to help your audience unleash their creative genius and use it as a strategic advantage. Every attendee will receive access to The Hodges 12™ Assessment and a personalized profile which includes their top three creative gifts, blind spots, and development prompts. With two live speed-paintings and interactive exercises, they'll leave inspired and equipped to think differently and drive innovation on their teams.

Workshop Idea # 1

The Creative Genius Innovation Lab

Healthcare professionals are among the most analytically rigorous thinkers on the planet. Your training didn’t just teach you what to think, it trained you to converge fast, identify the right answer, and act decisively. In clinical practice, that reflex saves lives.

But step away from the bedside and that same reflex can work against you. In this high-energy, hands-on workshop, participants don’t just learn about creative problem-solving, they do it.

This is where the keynote becomes reality and insight becomes action.

Workshop Idea # 3

Radical Teamwork: The Conversations Your Needs to Have But Never Does

Work shouldn’t feel like walking on eggshells. Every team deserves the kind of trust that fuels bold thinking, open collaboration, and real results. In this highly interactive breakout, Heather guides your team through an energizing experience designed to spark the conversations that build deep trust using her Radical Teamwork Card Deck™

Through structured dialogue and guided reflection, participants will: uncover hidden team dynamics, build empathy, understand work styles, and strengthen the foundation of collaboration. You will learn how to make it simple and safe for your team to talk about what really matters. The result are better communication, stronger connections, and a team that can perform at its highest level.

Workshop Idea # 4

Building Team Culture with LEGO Serious Play®

Many teams feel disconnected and burned out. The work gets done, but the joy of working together is missing. When team culture is unhealthy, trust is hard to build, collaboration slows, the quality of work is subpar, and your best people eventually look elsewhere for belonging and purpose.

Building a healthy culture is everyone’s responsibility, yet it’s often left to chance. But when culture is intentionally designed, everything changes. A healthy culture doesn’t just retain people, it helps them flourish, take creative risks, and achieve more together than they ever could alone.

In this hands-on session, participants will experience the LEGO® Serious Play® method to build their ideal team culture. Through creative modeling and shared storytelling, team members will identify their unique strengths, connect them to a shared vision, and co-create the environment where everyone can thrive. You’ll leave with renewed clarity, stronger trust, and practical actions to build a dynamic culture.

Workshop Idea # 2

Retention Rx: How To Build a Culture No One Wants to Leave

The number one cause of turnover isn’t pay, it is workload, burnout, and feeling disconnected. The good news is that retention isn’t complicated when you know how to build a culture where people feel valued, heard, and supported.

Through a hands-on activity using Heather’s original Stay Conversations Card Deck™, leaders will experience how easy it can be to have meaningful, trust-building conversations with their team.

You’ll walk away with ready-to-use tools and confidence to start Stay Conversations to create a culture no one wants to leave.
