not to deter the Life Alert method; but lots of folks now a days carry their cell phones with them at all times.

I seem to remember a person named Ron (i don't know if he is the same Ron who has responded or not) who fell off his horse....still had his cell phone intact and called for help on it.

Maybe our cell phones can become everyone's life alert for those who carry them...maybe some one number tht would get them help should be put on speed dial.

Re: the Scooby Doo discussion.....per your example, Heather, parents, ...and maybe even grandmas and grandads watch Scooby Doo with their children....I know I used to enjoy the original Scooby Doo (i am nearly seventy) and would probably enjoy watching it with my special child more than some other things he watches. hmmmm...... reckon the Scooby Doo folks know that?...you betcha

Because Ron, all those kids watching Scooby Doo are in need of something that they can use in case of emergency... because we all know that kids are in danger of falling down and not being able to get back up.... you can never be more careful?
